Fall, the season with fallen leaves and golden trees. For fashion, it's my favourite season with earthy palettes- Burgundy, Tan, Olive, Camel! In your wardrobe of autumn essentials, you will probably have one of these colours. You can't go wrong with a basic palette, so how do we take this muted season to a whole new level? Finish an entire look with the latest suited trends of the season, starting with eyewear. They are everyday staples, but chosen well, can be a statement piece too. A unique choice of eyewear not only brightens up the look, but it also adds a sophisticated touch to it. Here, I've outlined the best styles for Fall that you can invest in, for every budget and style.

#1 THE FUTURIST

Perhaps living in Mars is a matter of time, we can get started with some futuristic goggles from Céline. Clean, chunky and sporty- this pair of orange visors was initially inspired by skiing goggles. Fun fact: The orange-tinted lenses offer 100% UVA and UVB protection, giving your eyes the full protection they require.

#2 THE MINI

It's all about the getting tiny! From bags, sunglasses and to earrings. Tiny is good- in fact, it's great! The most significant revelation this year is the micro sunnies. From the 90's oversized cat-eyed sunnies, the trend has eventually revolved into the teeny sunglasses that suits almost all face shapes.

#3 THE TECHNO

Technicolour eyewear is a dream come true for the wanderlust. Think wearable cotton candy. They are adorable and adds a pop of colour. Rectangular shaped sunglasses are also suitable with those who have an oblong face shape. Whether or not you have that face shape; don't shy away from a statement like this, just own them!

#4 THE MONOCHROMATIC

This is another favourite from IT Girl's list of Matrix styled visors except we are ditching the colours and bringing back the monotones. The contrasting thick white frames go well with any outfit that you have.

#5 THE CIRCULAR

We celebrated the arrival of the nerdiest spec of the year with a comback of the wire-rim frame. This time round, it came back looking more refined and sophisticated. The thin frame is delicate with an unknown bit of attitude. This special one, from Roberi & Fraud, is currently one of my favourites.

#6 THE DOMINATE

There is nothing more ingenious than a blackout lens to make an impression. Yet another ultra-futurist look, this slimline blackout pair is a subtle yet bold move from Alexander Wang. This sunglasses style is in collaboration with Gentle Monster and is a must-have for all A-Wang fans.

# 7 THE CLASSIC

Really, if wearing miniatures isn't your thing, opt for the classic. Sleek and minimal, this pair from Quay translates perfectly to anyone who needs a stylish addition to any outfit. After all, the frame shape is flattering and the classic style works season after season.
