The charming side of Otaru, Hokkaido.

When you think of Hokkaido, you picture vast greenery, wonderland of hot springs, ski resorts and seafood. The day has come- to satisfy the overdue seafood craving!

Together in Hokkaido, my Sportmax ensemble has accompanied me through my seafood quest. A sneak peek into the Pre-fall'18 collection and you will realise the vibrant contrast is similar to the vitality of the Nijo Market! Abiding its sportswear roots, this collection is highly inspired by the world of sports and the energy it carries with it. Balancing practicality into the design, the Sportmax collection has also included high tech materials and meticulous details. Just like the set I wore - I layered a lightweight parka onto a jersey top. A closer look and you will realise, it actually resembles a wet surfing suit.

I went on to visit the Otaru Canal, which is one of the most scenic destinations that has been restored. Immersing in this nostalgic ambience, it was rather a charming area which was a beautiful contrast to the lush countryside.

Closer to the evening, I swopped out the thin jersey top for a heavy sweatshirt. Instead of an ordinary colour-blocking contrast, this sweatshirt has nylon inserts and chunky zippers that reveal femininity with an athletic outlook. How eye-catching is that?
