Thanks to the blowup of Balenciaga's ‘Triple S’ Sneaker, a street favourite style that has sent its similar counterparts up in high demand. Since its debut two years ago, there was a noticeable shift from simple minimal sneakers to over-the-top sneakers. With many luxury houses and emerging designers adopting this look through unique intepretations. For starters, the launch of Alexander McQueen’s Oversized Sneakers, Gucci ‘Rhyton’ and Raf Simons x Adidas Ozweego III Sneakers, created new excitement amongst shoe lovers. I’m a huge fan of chunky sneakers especially for the additional height and extra detail. They are my go-to comfort style, especially after weeks of painful shoes during fashion month!

That said, it’s not surprising that this trend would continue in Fall. Whether we like it or not, it’s gonna stay!
