As a beauty junkie myself, I love to try out new products from different brands. With an over-flowing beauty stash, I sometimes forget what product actually works for me. That said, I have decided to collate my key products that I’ve used throughout the years and share my beauty empties here for the first time.

Dior

Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume HD-Squeezable Mascara, SGD 54

I love this mascara. It gives me long, defined lashes with one quick sweep- and there is no need for any build up. Besides the sleek packaging, I’ve literally worn this from 9am right till 3am without looking like a panda. This is the only mascara that works for my oily eyelids without any smudges. The Dior Diorshow Pump 'N' Volume Mascara is made of rubber, so you can squeeze it a couple of times to reactivate/warm up the formula for a smooth glide on.

IGK

First Class Dry Shampoo, SGD 43

For me, IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo is one of the few that lived up to its hype. We all know that dry shampoo is supposed to give us natural fresh-looking hair but I’ve used brands that left my hair looking greasier after use. Just a few sprays and my hair is back to normal. No white residue is left after usage and it helps add a touch of volume while leaving a refreshing scent. The only downside is the price but you get what you pay for.

SK-II

Treatment Essence, SGD 108

Again, this is my all-time favourite. Thanks to the high concentration of its signature ingredient, Pitera, the SK-II Treatment Essence is filled with vitamins, minerals, organic and amino acids to enhance skin-cell renewal and boost hydration. The SK-II Treatment Essence has been on my beauty shelf for 5 years now and I can’t imagine my life without the smell of FTE.

CHANEL

Les Beiges Eau De Teint

As the name implies, this new product is not your usual foundation. Instead, the colour applies sheer with Chanel’s patented micro-droplets. Not quite ideal for when I’m on-the-go as you’ll require washing of hands after application. Though, it does not provide the most coverage, what it does is to make the skin look as natural and with an endless glow. That’s what I genuinely love about it.

Sunday Riley

C.E.O Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil, SGD 113

Just like the Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment, this cult-favourite from Sunday Riley is one of my go-to daily skincare products. Unlike the usual Vitamin C products, the C.E.O Glow Vitamin C facial oil uses THD Ascorbate which helps penetrate through the oil-rich skin barrier and reach our dermis. While I'm not drawn to the turmeric scent, I ultimately stayed for Vitamin C.
