New Swimwear Labels! - End Year Vacay Dressing

In this Instagram age, vacation dressing is everything. Whether you are heading down for a swim or just tan by the pool, you need to document this moment visually. When it comes to choosing my favourite swimsuit, it is all about versatility. I will always opt for the classic one-piece wear because it’s stylish and it minimises the risk of a malfunction (girls, you know what I mean). I’m not a fan of additional hassle so a one-piece doubles as a top/full outfit.

My word of advice is to always go for a swim cut that fits you best. As everyone has a different body type, it is okay to take some time in picking the perfect swimsuit you will feel comfortable and confident in. If you are still not sure what works best for you, here's a round-up of three unique labels that has recently launched their swimwear collections.

Faithfull The Brand

Based in Bali, every piece designed by Faithfull The Brand is handmade and hand printed locally. The prints vary from floral to stripes and even polka dots. Did you know that besides a perfect fit, the prints and patterns on the swimsuit can also create an illusion to your body shape? To elongate your body shape, I would recommend the Cap Maison Stripe. As it has vertical stripes, it will create a slimmer and longer silhouette. If lines aren't your thing, you can always go for a retro floral swimwear for a boho look.

GALAMAAR

With the fashion world revolving around the topic of sustainability and transparency of the products, Galamaar has stepped up to push for innovative and long-lasting swimwears. If you are worried about any malfunctioning, fear not! It features double-layer construction made out of recycled ocean waste, that ensures the perfect fit even without pinching.

Mid Sommar Swim

Made in Los Angles, Midsommar Swim is a newly launched line of high-end swimsuits in unique prints and colours. Unlike the conventional swimwear, I really like that the swimsuits are versatile. They have designs like the off-shoulder tops and long-sleeve pieces, which can be worn for dinner or smart casual occasions. Look out for the gingham checks, it will become next Summer’s hottest print.

STUDIO COMMON

Bonus treat! Studio Common is a Bangkok-based resort wear label founded in 2016. Famously known for their timeless pieces, the swimsuits are mainly in classic silhouettes and high-quality materials that accentuate any female body type. I am wearing my favourite out of the Spring-Summer 2018 collection, the Rio in Coral Pink. As their website is currently undergoing a development, I have linked their Facebook page instead.
